Last night, for about 20 minutes, we had one of the most amazing red sunsets I have ever seen. It all started out rather grey and I was in two minds whether to stay at the Mount or not. The decision to stay was rewarded with this incredible display of light.
Three other serious photographers captured the show and many smart phones appeared at the top of the steps that lead down to the beach.
The best display would have been in a south west direction, so 'well chosen' to anyone who decided to go to parts of the Cornish coast that face that direction.
